Congratulations to Megan C. Carpenter on Her Election to the Talladega City Board of Education!

We are so proud to congratulate our very own Megan C. Carpenter on her election to the Talladega City Board of Education! Megan is a dedicated parent, community member, and attorney who has a deep understanding of the challenges facing our schools and our students.

Megan graduated from Talladega High School in 1998, the University of Alabama in 2002, and received a Juris Doctor from Birmingham School of Law in 2007. Since then, she has practiced law in Talladega alongside her husband and father, at our firm, Alabama Consumer Law Group where she specializes in bankruptcy. She participated in Talladega Junior Welfare league, served six years on United Way of North Talladega County Board of Directors, and was a Girl Scouts Co-Troop Leader. She is currently on the Talladega Main Street Board of Directors and is Promotions Committee Chair, and is involved with Houston Elementary PTO and Talladega High School Band Boosters.

Megan is a strong advocate for parental involvement in education. She believes that parents play a vital role in their children’s education, and she is committed to creating opportunities for parents to be involved in their children’s schools. She is also a strong believer in transparency and collaboration, and she is committed to working with all stakeholders to improve the quality of education in Talladega.

We are confident that Megan will be a valuable asset to the Talladega City Board of Education. She is a hard worker, a thoughtful leader, and a dedicated public servant. We are excited to see what she accomplishes in her new role.

We are also proud to have Megan as a member of the Alabama Consumer Law Group. ACLG is a supportive community business that is committed to giving back to the community. We are proud to support Megan in her new role, and we know that she will be a great advocate for our children and our schools.

Congratulations, Megan!
