From Family Photo to Family Legacy: The Story Behind Alabama Consumer Law Group, LLC (ACLG)

Photos hold memories, and some capture more than just smiles and poses. This picture, taken in 1990, tells a story of ambition, dedication, and a family bound by law and love. At the center stands Sandy, beaming with pride in her law school graduation gown, flanked by her lawyer husband, Buddy, and their four children. This wasn’t just a family celebrating a milestone; it was the beginning of a legacy.

Fast forward to today, and that legacy thrives as Alabama Consumer Law Group, LLC (ACLG), previously known as Campbell and Campbell, PC, continues to be a pillar of legal support in Talladega, Alabama and surrounding areas. While Sandy has earned her well-deserved retirement, the legal torch has been passed with pride to two of their daughters, Megan and Mary Ruth, both pictured in the graduation photo. This photo isn’t just a snapshot; it’s a testament to the power of family and the pursuit of shared dreams.

Buddy, practicing law since 1977, has seen it all. His dedication to bankruptcy law built Campbell and Campbell’s reputation, and his passion continues to inspire at ACLG. Megan, following in her parents’ footsteps, joined the firm in 2008, bringing her expertise and fresh perspective. Mary Ruth, graduating in 2016, added her own legal acumen to the team. Together, they carry the legacy forward, ensuring that our clients receive the same level of care and expertise that Sandy and Buddy instilled from the start.

But the story doesn’t end there. The family bond extends beyond blood. Gabe, Megan’s husband, also joined the firm in 2010, solidifying the family spirit that permeates our practice. This unique blend of experience, passion, and familial connection sets us apart. We understand the challenges our clients face because we’ve seen them firsthand, within our own families and communities.

While bankruptcy remains our core practice, we’ve expanded at ACLG to serve our clients’ diverse needs. From consumer law to wills and estates, we offer comprehensive legal solutions tailored to each individual. We believe in building relationships, not just cases, and that commitment starts with understanding the unique stories of those we serve.

This photo, a glimpse into our past, serves as a reminder of where we came from and inspires us to continue building for the future. It’s a story of family, dedication, and a shared passion for justice. As we move forward, we do so with the same values that have guided us since the beginning: integrity, compassion, and a commitment to serving our community in Talladega and surrounding areas including Birmingham, Montgomery, Opelika, and Gadsden.

If you’re facing a legal challenge, we invite you to join our story at ACLG. Let us put our family legacy to work for you.
