J. Gabriel “Gabe” Carpenter has been practicing in Talladega since the fall of 2010. His practice focuses on civil litigation in the state and federal courts, particularly matters involving violations of consumer protection laws such as the Truth in Lending Act and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. In addition, he is primarily responsible for the firm’s wills and estates practice.

A native of Georgiana, Alabama, Gabe moved to Talladega in 2005 to write for the local newspaper. He later enrolled in the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University where he received his law degree in 2009. During law school, Gabe served as an editor of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy. He also holds an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law and a journalism degree from Auburn University.

In his spare time, Gabe enjoys reading, music, woodworking and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
